Code:
[Errno 13] Permission denied

Mosty happened if you run the client as admin.

In case its so simple:
1. Uninstall FAForever client.
2. Manually delete the directory "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\" to delete all files with wrong permissions.
3. Reinstall the client.

I switched the FAF Client to v.0.18.3 ( the one which is linked at GitHub), before i was using the Version from the mainsite (0.10). I guess this would be the right thing to do?

Now i got this when creating a game:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "src\games\hostgamewidget.py", line 72, in _launch_game
File "src\fa\check.py", line 128, in check
File "src\fa\check.py", line 64, in path
File "src\fa\path.py", line 28, in writeFAPathLua
PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\ProgramData\\FAForever\\fa_path.lua'

Runtime info:

FAF Username: Emissary
FAF Version: 0.18.3+3100
FAF Environment: production
FAF Directory: C:\ProgramData\FAForever
FA Path: : e:\steam\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
Home Directory: C:/Users/Malte/Documents
Platform: Windows-10-10.0.17763
Uname: uname_result(system='Windows', node='DESKTOP-R1KJ7VI', release='10', version='10.0.17763', machine='AMD64', processor='Intel64 Family 6 Model 60 Stepping 3, GenuineIntel')

edit: ??? There is no FAForever Folder at all on my rig

edit 2: Ok… ProgramData was still hidden and yes there is ForgedAlliance.exe in the bin Folder. Still doesn't work though

Code:
java.util.concurrent.CompletionException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe (Zugriff verweigert

Code:
Exception in thread "JavaFX Application Thread" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The game's start must not be null: Game{title=800+GO GO GO, id=9622276, status=PLAYING}

just posting the error messages so ppl can find them by searching in the future

my guess is that you should check whether or not the exe file in C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ is available
if it isn't then post your entire client log - it might have some error from the download/installing the file
you can also check your antivirus/windows settings - maybe those prevent the client from downloading/installing the patch files/executable

well, after playing SupCom by release and recently via Steam i tried to give FAF a shot. Unfortunaly without success atm. I downloaded the client from the mainpage, linked the account with steam and now i'm stuck with this error message when i try to create a game.

Any help would be nice

This one is shown by the window in the game Client itself: window error

and the attached one is the error log in the Client Folder:

i'm kinda lost here :/

edit; i had to put the logs in the attached files, otherwise the site denied my post for too many url thingies
