Unable to create or join game

Since installing a few days ago I have been encountering the same issue again and again when trying to create a game in the lobby, I am also unable to join any games and Co-op games briefly show preparing game before doing nothing at all.

So far I have tried:
Reinstalling FAF and FA
Turning off firewalls / Anti Virus
Running as Administrator (I'm aware this is a bad idea but why not try)
deleting game.pref and running ForgedAlliance.exe from FaForever Bin folder
restarting the PC

I can't make any sense of the log file so I hope someone else can.
