A couple of my friends and I have recently stumbled across FAF, and we are loving it. However, we are plagued with a nasty issue of losing connection midway through play during most of our games. I am monitoring all of our connections to a completely separate server/service (Teamspeak 3), and a player outright loses connection when they get even the tiniest bit of packet lost (not even 0.5% for a short while). A window pops up with the silence timer counting up on how long they are "lost" for. I forget exactly what this window says, but.. the window never goes away, even if the packet loss fully goes away.
We have played the base game, and have not run across this issue (this could very well just be coincidence that no packet loss has occurred when playing the base game). Although we have had some stutters or desync every now and then due to connection (assumed) issues, the game recovers.
We all have ports forwarded and firewall exceptions added (just to be sure, I'm not sure if there is any host migration, etc). I'm sure this issue is something with the game itself and not fixable, but I'm hopeful there is something else aside from that. We'd love to actually get through our games
The following are logs from me (host). The friend I was playing with at this time was dennisp2938. I would have also provided his logs, but he has the surround sound audio issue, and his log is >7 million lines long from the errors due to that and any word processor quits responding when attempting to break it down.
