I agree, if someone doesn't have access to their firewall/router they should contact their ISP. I have full access to the router config, i own the router. Port forwarding was setup and working fine (according to various testing I did).

The issue was that certain users weren't having the port forwarded by my old router (not every, just specific users).

I did notice that my old router (TZ 105) can't use IPv6 and the newer router is IPv6 capable. But like I said, it was a really old router I had, just strange it was always with the same people I could never connect.

Or call ISP to set your router so it can port forward becouse they hided all configuration so people cant open ports with some routers.

Hello

I Bought the game 4 days ago and in downloards client my proxy was orange. I couldnt conect to all players in lobby. My port forwarding was bad due to my router but i the solution was to call my ISP prowider. They configured my router and network so my ports are working now althoug the settings i entered was correct) and now i can connect to all players in lobby and play normal.
Before that i tried everything with firewall and static ip and so on. Try call your ISP. I test my ports with Port Forward Network Utilities and now they are opened

Got a new router, its working fine now; no explanation why my prior router/firewall wouldn't forward that port for specific people.

So to fix- either use a vpn service or get a new router/firewall (at least that's what worked for me).

I have changed ISP providers and still can't connect to them; I thought it might have been something with my static public ip; but I suppose since we could ping/trace route, that wouldn't be the case. So basically it doesn't seem to be an ISP related issue as a different ISP still had the issue, i'm getting a new router soon.

I tried using a vpn service and it worked, was able to connect to the other player. Will try replacing my router later on though, don't want to be stuck with vpn any time i want to play FAF with all.

I seem to be having the same issue, there are specific people that I cannot connect to - over the past several months, its always the same people.

In chat, I exchanged IP info with one of them and we did trace routes and such. They were able to ping my firewall and tracert to it just fine; I was also able to ping their ip and tracert to them no issue.

We are kinda at a loss here; Within the past month I did change to a completely new computer, redid the port forwards and such; the issue still exists with the same people. It doesn't seem to be IP specific because one if from my country and another one I can't connect to has a different country flag from other side of the world.

Things I plan on trying next-
1. Try a different firewall/router (I have a spare, differen't model/manufacuturer)
2. Try a vpn service

I do suspect my firewall (sonicwall TZ 105) is old and might be having issues; its just so weird that we can connect outside of the faf client, but within faf it won't work; but there have also been several games were people keep refaf because they can't see eachother but everyone else can see them just fine, and it never gets resolved (they never connect to eachother).

Thanks for tips. I managed to force proxy but it didn't make any change, still no connect to same people who were not connected earlier.

I've started to have issues on connecting all peoples in lobbies. Mostly it connects to everyone straight away but quite often there are one or two guys that I just can't get connected to. Restarting FAF doesn't help, I have ports opened and I have tried to disable windows firewall and avast. Im using win 10. Same problem with legacy and Downlord's client.
