Do not use the email address for logging in. Make sure you type username and password exactly correct.

What do you mean by trying to reset pw? What's the result?. Do you get the reset email? Did you click the link in there? What happens then?
UPDATE: I see a (3) reset emails being sent to you containing a seemingly valid reset token. Did you get those?

saying "it doesn't work" doesn't help
please post a screenshot of your error
if it says that you either don't own fa on steam or your profile is private then post a screenshot of your steam privacy settings/pm me your steam ID (not your login name) so i can take a look myself

how to redeem a cd code on steam -> https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -TFBN-1352
you just have to do this for FA - not vanilla supcom

once you have fa in the inventory of your steam acc by adding the cd key as described in the link you can follow the guide to link your faf acc to steam

once the acc is linked you can log in to faf again - you do NOT have to uninstall the cd version and you do NOT have to install the steam version
all you need is to link the acc and you can play as you did before

Please give an advice how to do 4 all having a cd based version on PC:

It was communicated to get FA for free when owning CD versions (SC+FA)
I´m into steam anyway. But what do i have to do?

Where am i able to sign in with the cd codes?

Do i have to download game via steam?
Do i have to uninstall curent version on PC before?

i'm having a similar issue kinda . my issue is that despite having my steam account linked to my faf account AlphaWolfGamer it's not letting me login claiming it's not linked it would be very handy if anyone can confirm if it's just on my side or not because im getting annoyed because i really want to use my account. i was able to get on last night but not today

Hi,

linking your faf acc to steam just tells faf that you own the game on your steam acc - it doesn't tell us the location of the game on your hard drive.

Please install the game supreme commander forged alliance via steam (assuming you didn't so far) and then tell the client where the game is installed
