Unfortunately I now get this error:

I have installed: vcredist_x86 you linked

I have rebooted

I checked the SystWOW64 folder you mentioned and the dll's that the program couldn't find previously, are now there.

(I forgot to mention I am also running 64 bit windows 7 ultimate)

Yeps but the python and dll version are 32 bits (XP compatibility), so 32 bits redist are needed.

I downloaded the installer and installed that vcredist_x84.exe thingy,
Then I tried first time no error. But I forgot to remove the other DDL's (3 later sent)
Tested again when i removed them and that worked.

Remove the DLL I gave, and install this :

Or re-download and overwrite with the links I gave (it's the correct 32 bits dll now).

These dll, if installed correctly, are supposed to be in : c:\windows\syswow64\ (NOT system32, these are the 64 bits versions - I know, this is completely stupid).

Check if you have installed the NET 4.0 32 bits too.

You probably need to reboot.

I had the exact same problem as FO20: mfc100u.dll missing.

I reinstalled net framework 2 times, same error.

I downloaded the dll files you provided and put them in the same folder as the test application.
(do I have to put these somewhere else????)

I no longer get the mfc100u.dll missing error, but I get the following in the log:
