Make sure your steam profil is set to public. This error will occur when the API was unable to check your steam profile and verify that you do indeed own a copy of FA.

Are you sure your steam account isn't already linked to another FAF account ?
Could you please message me with your public steam ID ?

Cannot link to Steam-account since latest update

When I tried to log into FAF today I was asked to link my Steam account. I tried to do so and made sure it's set to public. But I always get a blank page with this error message:

{"errors":[{"status":"500","title":"org.springframework.dao.DataIntegrityViolationException","detail":"could not execute statement; SQL [n/a]; constraint [steamid]; nested exception is org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException: could not execute statement"}]}

(This happens when I log into Steam via the link that is provided in the FAF-login-window saying "Link your accout to steam")
I also get the same result on another computer.
