you werent spawned as nomads since no nomads assets (not even the logo) is loaded when you start a ladder game.

you are using supreme scoreboard, that shows the nomads logo when you are registered as "faction = 5" in the game.

I started searching for a ladder game, stopped searching, tried to join a 2v2 lobby, FAF gave the "FA is already running" error, and then the ladder match started. It showed my global rating rather than my ladder rating in the scoreboard and also showed me as the nomads faction, and I didn't have an ACU. My opponent was also apparently unable to open the diplomacy menu to offer a draw.
