There was an update to the client in the meantime, I forgot to update the wiki. Current newest stable version is 0.16.1.

The 'vault.css' seems to be a missing file in the source as well. I think it's just a leftover bug, it shouldn't cause issues.

I don't know about the "black square" issue - which tabs does it appear on? If it's the "news" tab, then it might be an issue with Ubuntu's QtWebEngine.

The client has settings for specifying wineprefix and wine binary to run - I didn't get around to adding a GUI to set these. You'll have to find the client config file in '~/.config/ForgedAllianceForever/FA Lobby.ini' and add a section:

You could also try using the Java client. It should be/will be linux compatible. (I'm currently still working on that, so don't expect everything to work. You just need wine and a working FA installation.

Sadly I can't find a download link to a compiled jar/deb file currently (without the windows installer).

Hello,i am trying to run FAF on linux(sorry my bad english)
I followed this instruction wiki faforever -> Setting_Up_FAF_Linux"
when i start laucher it`s look like "maleivich square" -just black
faforever.log:

Code:: WARNING util.theme Failed to load resource 'vault/style.css' in theme.themeurl

but i can random click to "play" button and it will be ok,but is annoying.
I dont know were find vault.css
BIGGEST problem is :
1.always when i start it i seen update menu,which by fact update nothing(can add photo in comment)
2.when i click to some game nothing happend:updating fafegamedata,(map/mod downloading if it is) and end.
SOME TIMES it running wine,then wine error which says :eroor to write in 0x0000000
in PoL(which wineprefix i "connected" by instruction) su:fa run all time
by game.log i think i "connected" wine,fa and faf client
game.log not contains warning
faforever.log warinings

Code:: INFO fa.game_session.GameSession Game has started WARNING client._clientwindow FA has finished with exit code: 1

please help
