ive done that it has come up with two roor messages then it says replay server could not be started on port 15001

you gotta tell the FAF client where the base game (in your case the steam version of FA) is installed
to do so click on options -> settings -> game path (in the FAF client)
then you need to click on browse and navigate to the install folder (not /bin or any other sub folder)
if you don't know where the game is installed then open steam and right click on supreme commander forged alliance and select properties -> local files -> browse local files
