So i found an answer to the error: In the folder C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin there i an exe called ForgedAlliance.exe. I opened the Compability of this exe and unchecked the Checkbox : Start with 640 x 480 resolution. I also attached a Picture.

So i tried older versions of the launcher, but it still dont work...

Please make a backup of your game.prefs file ("C:\Users\_YourName_\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Game.prefs") and then see if deleting the file changes anything.

I can start the game from steam without any issues, i can also play it. Its only when FAF tries to start it.

Can you run the game without FAF with no issues?
If you simply launch the game from steam/dvd? do you get the same error?

No unfortunately not, i set Supreme Commander to windowed mode and still got the error, i also set my monitor resoltion to 1280x1024 and tried again, but still the error

Hey, when i host a lobby or want to join one in FAF, i get a black screen, then an error sound and after that i get a messagebox with the Message : Inadequat Monitor Resolution (minimum is 1024x768). I tried alread setting my Monitor resolution (standard 1920x1080) to 1280x1024 but i get still the error. I also changed the resolution in Supreme Commander to 1280x1024 but still the same error. I attached a Picture of the Error.
