If you only want to play a LAN game, just start the game without the FAForever Lobby.

Make a shortcut or start it with doubleklick:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe

Then you can start a multiplayer LAN game from the ingame menu.

Due to home routers often behaving incorrectly, FAF currently cannot fully support LAN games. This will change in the future but for now you would have to manually run the faf-mod from FA.

If you enter the key into the steam you should get the golden edition of the game there. That will allow you to link the accounts which will unlock the computers.

I own two separate computers, and as it happens i also have two boxed versions of platinum collection supreme commander.

So now my friend comes to my home and we try to play a game together 1vs1 locally just to realise we cant join lobby if both are on the same account. So ive created another account to login on second computer and now i get this error of having to login from account linked to steam.

Note that i have phisycal copies of the game not steam ones.

Is there any way around this problem?
