yes but that's exactly the problem. If I log into computer 1 with my FAF account "pukster" and then log into computer 2 with FAF account "pukster" then I will get logged out on computer 1. Since "a computer is locked to a single account", I can no longer use a different FAF account on any of the two computers. Therefore, I can't do LAN gaming on those two computers.

but I've already used the same account on both computers (vancitylawyer) and it is locked on to that FAF account on both computers. So I am in this impossible situation

1) I can't be logged in to the same FAF account on two computers at the same time
2) I can't change the FAF account to log into on either computer so as to be able to log in on both computers at the same time.

Just use a different account of both computer.

Do you mean a different windows user account? can I do this for all 5 users on computers? for example computer 1 has the user accounts
bob
jim
john
mary
michelle

with each running versions of FAF with their specific faf account info? and the same for computers 2-5?

I can revert it manually in these cases. But I won't do it each time your girlfriend is stealing your computer :)

I describe the problem here. Esentially I have 5 computers and 5 FAF accounts, but I accidentally logged into the same account from two different computers. So now when I try to do lan gaming, one computer logs the other one out.

What would you need from me? Local/global ip? MAC address?

Yes of course. You are not supposed to log twice.

I realize your intentions, but it's not inconceivable that someone will accidentally log into someone else's computer with their FAF account, then that person is forever doomed as they can no longer log in with their own FAF account.

There is none. Only one account is allowed per computer in order to not be submerged by smurfs.

So I just can't play? That's it?
