Wow.. It was that simple tool which fixed the issue.

Thank you very much for that :)

The 0.11.60 version is corrupted, probably due to my computer instantly turning itself off during an uninstallation process. The picture shows which Error popups show up to which installation package I use.

I use the steam version of Supcom and Supcom:FA, if that changes anything

Did you delete (and backup the stuff you wanna keep such as replays/maps/mods) those?

The info in the 2nd link had no effect at all. The process in the cmd prompt instead just ran the installer instead of giving a log. CCleaner had no effect and I was not able to repair or uninstall FAF from it and I already deleted the folders mentioned there before posting this.

The first link helped me remove the tmpsovyv.msi problem via regedit, however now when trying to install the latest FAF client (0.12.4) it instantly pops up with "The older version of FAF cannot be removed. Please contact your technical support group" and then the installer ends and terminates itself.

I had not played FAF for many months, so the version I had at the time was 0.11.60. I tried to load up that version to see if there was any difference and that receives an error saying "The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel"

The issue is I do not know if there is anything else FAF related other than the replays which I already mentioned which I can possibly delete. I also do not know if there is an issue with the download itself as every other version, newer and older than 0.11.60 has the same error and effect.

What else can I do?

I could use the alternative Alpha FAF Client made by Downlord, which works perfectly fine, but no offense to him, I really prefer to use the original client.

The only things which is FAF related that I believe are still on my system are replays which I manually placed into a separate folder.

Things I have already tried:

- Uninstall and Reinstall both Supcom and Supcom: Forged Alliance
- Tried to install using older versions of FAF, Earliest version I tried was 0.10.122
- Trying to find the file on other parts of my system. It does not exist.
- Verifying game cache of both Supcom and Supcom: Forged Alliance on Steam

I obviously cannot get any logs as they do not exist on my system. If it is as simple as getting that .msi file then could someone send it over so I can put it back on my system.

If someone can help me on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
