Oh sorry I forgot this post xd

I was using Win XP, I tried install FA on Win 7 and it works like a charm, I have already played some games on FAF :P

But I don't mind fixing the problem on XP too, it could also help anyone that might have the same problem, but then you are gonna have to help me a little, what are logs where do I find them ?

My game does not refuse to launch, but when it launches, I see no cursor and I can't scroll or click anything (apart from the close and minimize buttons I have in windowed mode).

Additionally, I have no score.

This is exactly the same if I want to play a livereplay and I've read in a similar thread about replay issues that replays from before July 4th are not going to be played anyway (so that's a question less I have).

I've uploaded the replay.log and the game.log on pastebin:

Further information I have: whenever I host or join a game on FAF, I get the "updating gamedata" screen for just a second and when I launch the fa.exe file from the FAF folder directly, I see version number 3615 in the top right corner. I don't know how useful this information is though. I have the feeling this hasn't updated at all.

There are logs. Use the BETA - show logs menu after a try.

Try uninstalling google desktop if you have it. I had the same problem as you and that seemed to fix it.

Hi,

The title says it all, I wanted to play on FAF so I patched the game, but after that the game refuses to launch, i try to start the game as always it acts as if it's loading for few seconds and then nothing ... I tried to reinstall the game and repatch it but same result.

Any idea on the origin of the problem and/or how to fix it please ?

EDIT: I wanted to precise that it doesn't show any error message, the game doesnt launch but nothing happens, a latent forgedalliance.exe appears in the task manager that I can shut, I also tried a fixed .exe with the same result, however I can actually still start the game by holding - Enter - for few secondsso that it opens it many times and I get tens of forgedalliance.exe in the task manager, but that way I can't play on FAF since I have to start FA from FAF lobby, right ?
I actually don't know how to play on FAF since I never could try ><
