Thanks for your reply. I have checked my game port setting and upnp is deactivated.

Attached you find an image of my router settings but it still doesn't work (i blurred the ip as I don't know if it is a smart idea to post it online). I have checked so many website for help but whatever I try it just doesn't work. :/

that post is pretty old but i can see that the client is trying to use upnp to map the port
so unless you have upnp running on your router this won't work and having a mapped port while trying to use upnp isn't going to work either

i recommend you either use upnp on your router or you disable upnp in the client and use your manually forwarded port
you can disable upnp in faf under options -> settings -> game port

I used to have no issues with my games at all but recently I get disconnected from most of the games i play. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I haven't done anything with my router (settings). I have reinstalled faf a few times, updated and uninstalled my mods and even tried out Downlord's faf client (which is really great) - nothing has worked so far.

When using Downlord's client I noticed at the bottom of the window the following information: "Proxy connection" with an orange exclamation mark; next to it there is the message "FAF connected" with a green dot as well as "Chat connected" with another green dot.

Under settings I can see that my "Game port" is 6112.

Thanks for any kind of productive advice =)
