sounds like some file permission issue to me
maybe check the folder permissions of the mod in question or try deleting it and redownload it

the client log would be useful
the client will open the log folder for you if you click on help -> show logs
you can upload the log as a file attached to a post with the upload attachment button

It's 2018 and still having this issue.
FAF Version: 0.16.1-rc.3-334

Are there any specific logs I can provide to help for bugfixing?

I can confirm that a new install of SupCom:FA and FAF do not work. I get two problems (on Windows 10 upgraded from Win7):
1. FAF complains that windows firewall is blocking outgoing connections - (I actually don't think it is, perhaps my IP is on a block list???)
2. The inability to download mods because the URL is both misconstrued, and wrong.

Is there any word from anyone doing any development on the program on a fix for this? For those of us with new installs, this breaks one of the best features of FAF.

Maybe beacause http://content.faforever.com/vault/mods ... .v0007.zip is a 404 ? First, I think a / is missing after .com, second even with the / there is a 404. Weird

I have reinstalled FaF today after quite a while. I was trying to download some mods, but I am getting the same issue as above. The vault looks like plain text and only a few mods have an 'icon' (basically the thing that says there is no picture). Also the background is white instead of dark grey.
