is stealth range circle always correct, which means, if you put a stealth and a weapon with the same range on the same place, do the circles match? maybe the circles are wrong.

I might take a look at this later... intel stuff is pretty difficult to change, however, and the ring displayed is based upon the blueprint number of what the stealth field range should actually be.... they are not independent of each other.

Ok, indeed, the ACU was inside the ring. My apologies.

I have two possible explanations :
1) the ring is wrong and stealth radius is shorter than it looks (but I doubt it)
2) it seems that if some units shoot at your ACU when he's out of stealth, when he goes inside a stealth radius but still is under fire, he doesn't disappear from radar. Because the PD that are also inside the ring but not underfire do disappear from radar.

In any case, Stealth is much, much weaker than mobile shields.

lol, Ty - However, I am not seeking an explanation. I'm seeking a fix. Stealth isn't weaker than shields so to say, it's just different. Doesn't negate that it should remove units from Radar when you enter its range.

Alright, I Watched the rep... seems like the effective range was only about 2/3rds of the range ring. interesting.....

Intersting?! BS is more like it lol. Just equate that to your mobile shield. You are close to death, you know you can get that mobile shield by your acu in time to save your life. Under the shield; still taking damage BOOM... WTF!?!?!?!?!?
lol.

I double and triple checked BEFORE making this post, watch AGAIN. I am within the stealth range, and so is the hoplite. I continue to stay on his radar screen, no flickering

And yes, I agree - cybran static stealth is nice, But I had a deceiver, and I was within its range. Soooo, useless?
Maybe the ring size is incorrect? I dunno, but when someone walks under a mobile shield it protects them - So when I am in the range of a mobile stealth unit, it should work. Period.

I don't know if the ring is wrong or what, just that considering the 18 range of a deciever, your ACU was definitely out of range.

This.

People often focus on Cybran's mobile stealth in discussing their stealth advantage, but the fact of the matter is the Cybran's stationary version has DOUBLE the effective range of other stationary stealth generators, so it's very effective.

Uploaded a replay, See the 10minute point, and just afterwards, and watch between orange and myself. Clearly within range of the mobile stealth field, lots of power. Full bar and +. been seeing this just lately and something is Seriously wrong. What the hell is a Cybran player supposed to do? Build shields? AAAAHAHAHHAHAH

Seriously, not sure why or what the real issue is, however something does need to be addressed because this is occurring in greater frequency... How would you like it if your shields flickered off just as a snipe is coming at you while You've got full power? You wouldnt…

Also watched hoplites die to a pd that were within the stealth field radius. Something's wrong here - definitely, seriously wrong [my play style included, I know]

-VoR-
