Hello. I've watched Gyle's FAF casts for a while and decided to join. Imagine my joy when I also stumbled upon the greatness that is the cache of supported mods in the FAF client.
The first one I tried ("TotalMayhem") had some great units and I truly enjoyed using them, but there was some kind of glitch where the factories didn't spawn in/weren't built properly. Instead of a factory model, the occupied space was mostly empty, save for a small hovering cube seemingly made of glass. It would spawn units, but only with the assistance of an engineer or ACU. The 'factories' also refused to upgrade, and any attempt to do so caused them to fail to function at all. (The icons for the new units introduced by the mod were also missing, but this is small fodder.)
I then attempted to use the Black Ops mod, and while the icons were present for this one, the factories still won't function as intended. Is this due to a clash between the rks_explosions mod and these two unit based mods, or some other conflict of which I am not aware, or a glitch, or something else entirely?
I feel quite dumb, and a little bit afraid, as this is my first day and talking to new people is not my forte.
