@speed2 ...I was trying to think how 'Mods' could be the cause as you suggest.
I do remember accidentally clicking on a Survival game that was Black-Ops and highly modded. The server downloaded updates for about 10 mins, as you can imagine I never made it into the game. I have not played any games with mods except 'anti-nuke price', although I see that I have 19 mods installed, 18 that I have never used.
So it seems that the massive forever.log was probably written during the interchange with the server while installing and updating these mods.

I think this is SOLVED. Thanks speed2.

Then when I tried to open a program... I got another error message saying "Low disk space"

I checked my hard drive properties and sure enough there was very little free disk space on C Drive.
I run a very tidy computer and I knew that the Recycle Bin and Internet Cache were empty.

I was thinking of running 'chkdsk' to look for a drive error when I happened to find the FAF Forever.log file was taking up 57 Gigabytes of space. 57,000,000,000 bytes is an incredibly big text file. I obviously could not open this file to view its content and had to delete it so that my computer could function correctly.

I couldn't send a file that big on a train let alone the net. My game.log is turned off because it was also becoming very large as I reported in September. Nothing like the size of this file but was still too big to send at about 1.5Gb.

Just thought I would warn others that its worth checking these file sizes now and again.
