Have been playing with a group of friends (7 in total) since the launch of supreme commander, once may be twice a week (as a group) and each of us has played many online games through GPG net FA forever and also used direct connect for some of the group games.
Now over the last couple of weeks we are starting to have DEATH issues! Example. 5 player free for all on 6 castles, using assassination as a victory rule. Using direct connect.
Player 1 dies, commander explodes. All units/factories stay. units stand still, factories keep producing! Player has no control over units/factories, also fog of war stays.
Player 2 dies, commander explodes, All units/factories stay. Player still has control over units/factories. Control k all units and factories to keep in line with rules. All units explode fog of war stays
Player 3 dies, commander and all units explode
Player 4 dies, commander explodes, can still use/move units/factories.
Anyone else has similar issues? What could be causing this? My thoughts were to make sure all are using similar installs of forged alliance and FA forever, but one friend has done a fresh install and we don't seem (yet) to have issues connecting to him. Another friend played skirmish offline, and his single player skirmish had similar issues at the end.
We have made sure the victory conditions are assassination and it's not in sandbox.
