Ideally your friend should fix the permissions of his c:\programdata\faforever directory. If he didn't put anything important there, it's safe to delete the entire directory and start from scratch.


To confirm that it is indeed the problem, you can run FAF as administrator. This is not recommended though.

-Uninstalling and reinstalling the program
-Manually setting the permissions on the C:\ProgramData and C:\ProgramData\FAForever folders
-Clearing all data within FAF

This is the error it generates, any ideas?
