I asked in the chat and someone suggested I try to run the "normal" game (not via the FAF lobby that means). It forced me to create a profile, which I did. Then I quit and tried the FAF lobby again, it now works fine.

I removed the gamedata folder, it seemed to catch some updates after that, but still no sugar.

Ah i recently reinstalled FA(F) and the video settings are at superlow settings and superlow resolution everytime I join a game.

Looking at the code issue, it'll affect people with a prefs file that's missing their primary adapter key.

Would you upload your prefs file for study? It's found in this directory:

C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance

Seems like an issue with the in game lobby. Can you try and update from scratch? (Delete your Gamedata folder in c :\programdata\faforever)

i'll investigate this further tomorrow
