Okay first update your drivers http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us if that doesnt work try this :

Go to your Nvidia control panel

Go to 'manage 3d settings' , and select the tab 'program settings'

Find 'Supreme Commander (supremecommander.exe)' and set CUDA - GPUs to your 750m (it might show up as 'high performance blah blah blah' on some laptops)

it wont even start the game nvm starting it in lobby. the comp spec is higher then the game min req but it wont start. I know it works on windows 8 since my other laptop can play it. I did try searching but nah da no past posts on it.

it's brand new laptop so I dont think its directx fault, my other one didnt have a problem when it was new.

I figure its just its too new of a OS to be able to play the game. stupid windows 8.1 pro.
I just redownload it and see if theres a log.

well I would post the spec but system saying too 'spammy' anyway its an alienware 14 with an i7 processor, it is better in about every way to my other one.

it is a gaming laptop thats better then my other one so it should work but I get an error 3DDirect cant be generated e.e yes I did the compatibility runs with every option that was on the list using troubleshooter and through properties, as the admin, ran it using the .exe file directly and na da. oh its the steam version if that help.
