So for the benefit of anyone searching Tech Support and looking up this thread, I may have just solved it.

I uninstalled, deleted the "FAForever" folder in ProgramData containing the "replays" folder and then reinstalled with the first ever FAF installer I got, 0.10.105, then installed .122 over the top of it. Attempting to watch a live replay gave the same error message the first time, but then has worked since.

The one sandbox game I started saved locally as it should have, but the ones I recorded that the system still thinks are broken. Not a big issue really. I will mark this solved after a few days of no further problems.

This may mean that there's a possible issue with the .122 installer - this issue arose after I purged my computer of everything to do with SupCom and FA, reinstalled using Steam, then downloaded .122 and immediately had problems.

Update - so this replay appears to have been parsed correctly. None of my games since have. I think I still had to download it manually and move it to my replays folder (I only just saw it had worked a day later), and I still can't watch live replays. It was the first replay after a name change. Hope this helps give someone an idea what's wrong with my replay folder/client/whatever the f*** is going on here.

Yes, all my replays load fine, even from my local archive after I've downloaded them from the vault and manually moved them to the right folder. The client just thinks they're broken, but they load when double clicked. I suspect it's a symptom of whatever has caused the problem with my live replays and lack of automatically saved local replays.

The replay you attached works fine here. Does that not parse on your end?

Would it help if I backed up my replays, deleted the folder and created a new version? I feel like there's an equal chance it will fix it, do nothing, or make things worse.

Ok I'll get on to this when I get home - sorry to be thick but the first line of what file? If you mean the .fafreplay file how do I access that?

Hello all

I've posted about this issue a couple of times, here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8732 and here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3125

I can't watch live replays and don't get locally saved replays. When I download replays from the vault and put them in my replays folder, the client thinks they are broken and unwatchable due to a replay parse error, but if I click on them they work.

Any idea how to fix this? Transition to the new server hasn't done it.
