Problem: When I attempt to watch a coop replay (tested on UEF Vanilla - Black Earth, and FA Campaign - Black Day), the files download, the game loading screen appears, and then the game crashes before i see any gameplay.
The game is linked to the steam installation of FA (vanilla SupCom is not installed). I have uninstalled FA (through steam), uninstalled FA Forever, and deleted the following folders:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever
E:\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games
C:\Users\zmaile\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games
E:\Program Files (x86)\Forged Alliance Forever
E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance
I then installed FA through steam, and FA Forever, restarted, yet the issue persists.
I can watch game replays from today (such as UID 2636386), but not from the co-op leaderboard (e.g. UID 2366926)
Logs are attached, and a pastebin of replay.log is at http://pastebin.com/6NQZfdmW.
One line that looks relevant is:
- Code:
warning: Search path element "C:\ProgramData\FAForever\gamedata\*.nxt" does not match any files
This is of course true, as there are no .nxt files in that dir. However, other replay files that load correctly (such as UID 2636386) also load the *.nx2 files that do exist.
I'm not sure how to proceed with this problem. The reason i'm confused is that my friends can watch the replays with no issue, so the problem is on my end. I could try renaming *.nx2 to *.nxt, but my friends didn't need to do that, so i'm trying to find the root cause.
Possible relevant system info: i5 2500, 16gb RAM, 2* 280X (crossfire disabled), FAForever+steam installed on E:\, ASUS Xonar DX, Dual Monitors, Win7
Does anyone else have any ideas on what else i can try to figure this out? I'm at a loss.
