It takes a lot of patience and organization skill to get these tournaments put together considering the global timezone, punctuality issues, and etc. Any and all help getting events together is appreciated! I'm sure Voodoo will not mind!

This tourney was held on the 14/09/2014 ^^
But I know more training tournies will be held in the future. You can sign up for them when they are on.

Was a really good idea to have player+coach, nice job !!

Shame I can't suscribe (860 ladder rank but 1600 global) hope the next one will be more permissive..

The main idea behind this tourney was to bring players together. Furthermore i gave you the maps one week before the tournament started. So you had time to train your player as speed2. It's not possible to tell a build order in game, you have to do it before. The coach can only tell little things in the game like scouting.

We can also do the next tournament without coaches in the game but i realy enjoyed two com explotions at the start of a game

Tha main thing about this tourney was in my opinion the preparation, for example, Exotic was training a lot since I told him to sign, he practised every map, found BO for every map and everything around... (you can see that in his replays history)
Then we watched those replays he played and I told him what to do better, i suggested strategies, faction etc, we also played few games where I was observing, so we practise also that part, like it was a tourney.
So when we actually played tourney, I was mostly providing intel, paid attention to units and so on, We come up with the plan before the game so I was not disturbing with telling him what to build and how, cuase he already knew everything.
And I believe that is one of the reasons why we won.

I would have to disaggree, i even found myself with a different coach with a different style, but i did not feel overwhelmed or anything. in fact id say i played better (except for the first game, i second guessed myself), but just made some slight mistakes which cost me the game. in fact id say maps like EOTS are good for training because there are often times where you have to abandon a certain strategy or exspansion in favour of the long game or a push.

Yes, I was saying this yesterday. Orders in game do not work so well for those being trained. While they can help you learn, they will almost surely cause you to throw your current game.
