Sorry, I was unaware there was a mapping forum. Is there some way of moving this discussion there?

This was a unique map that just happened to have the same name as another author's map on the vault--there were no other versions like it in the vault.

Thank you, your fix worked. Problem solved.

this is probly best posted in the mapping forum but the most likely answer to your issue is that you cant only change the name of your files (e.g. mapname_script.lua or mapname_scenario.lua) you must also change the map name and directory in your scenario file

Make sure all match your new map name and directory. also it is best to follow proper name conventions so you can also upload new versions of your map wothout littering the vault. see link.

Map Uploading Problem

Hello, I'm trying to upload a map but it says that the map is already in the database. The name of the map was "Corridors." There is another map named "Corridors" in the database, which is why I think my map won't load.

So I tried to change the name of the map, and then uploading it, but it doesn't work.

I tried to change all of the names of the files to the new name "Stone Park" but the map would not function after that.

I changed it back to "Corridors" and it works.

It won't upload. How can I upload the map?

I think it's a pretty good map the community might appreciate it if it gets uploaded.
