Same replay (desynced replay btw), same time. CPU is E8400 (20% OC to 3.6 GHz), gamespeed is +2. And yes, that CPU absolute lags the game down later on in Seton's 4v4. That's why I next to never play Setons on that thing. That Phenom x4 955 is even slower. So I guess they are pretty right kicking you from 5v5 or 6v6.

But really, w/o CPU score (he has been asked for that on the previous page already), nothing can be said about if it's faulty or not.

E8400-CV: you should see the screenshot that zep posted for him, before making assumptions that his cpu cant handle the game.

i also tested the replay, and got a speed of +3 at 20 mins.
i have a cpu score of 249.

so all in all i think that zirzors cpu should be able to handle most team games
it is somewhat worse than mine, so i think that setons is not the best. it can get far worse than in that replay, that one you used was quite modest.

but i think that people with similar speeds often play setons so if you post your cpu score then we can tell how accurate it is for you

i didnt make any calculations but i guess that it should be 290-340, which i find acceptable.

Don't blame us because your CPU can't deal with the bigger games.

# post what CPU score you get

And still half a dozen people came out to help you.

Actually, the Replay ID you have been asked for to give is # 20 72 28 3, the whole game lasted 49:52

Yeh i talked to pilot, and there is nothing i can do about this it seems, The cpu rating wont budge and i'm just convicing you people that i will probably never play with, sry for wasting your time, i'm not gonna go out of my way and buy a new CPU just for this games rating going down.

I wont do anything more with this, i play the game and if i get kicked so be it. i just think its sad that i can play the game but my rating doesnt let me.

me showing screens and replays and whatnot wont improve my cpu rating that people are looking at it, so i guess i'm just on a wild goose chase here.

Nobody stops you from not playing this great game. However, if you want to know if it's really faulty, you should post some more info. In my post I've talked about a CPU score of 420 and a AMD Phenom X4 955; did I remember right? Without this info nothing serious can be said.

The big majority of players with a too slow CPU (for a certain map) will claim "I won't lag". Since most of that is lies, people tend to side with the CPU benchmark and not someone's word.

Now, the screenshot shows a replay of a Setons game, 20 minutes in already down to +1. ASF numbers are 10's, not 100's. Please run down that replay and post a shot of the game on 30 minutes, and 40, and so on. Most Setons games I play (that's on 2500K, not E8400), end up lasting a full hour.

And yes, please provide the replay, so others can replicate and compare. Also, provide the rest of your system specifications. If you happen to run onboard video, that takes a bit in memory bandwidth (example). Thank you.

can i have the replay id of that, so i can see what my speed is in comparison to yours?

this is the point at which we should confirm your cpu rating and see what other peoples cpu ratings are and speeds at 20 min on that replay.

this is on order to a. check that your cpu is indeed fit for supcom and if it is (i feel convinced its fine atm) then make sure it gets placed accordingly by drawing up a table or results, which will hopefully help zepilot in improving this

First, let's see if your numbers are odds, as you didn't provided any.

For exemple, your CPU is rated 1123 by passmark.
Mine (a i5-2500k) is rated 1898 by passmark.

My CPU is rated 219 by the FAF bench. How much is yours?

It should be around 400 if my calculations are corrects.

It has to be proven faulty first.

We can't believe someone just because he says he "knows it".

Either the CPU rating is faulty and your CPU is underrated, or the CPU rating is right, and you think your CPU is better than it really is.

Both are possible, and if you think you are right, I will need data to make the system better. For example, a proof than your CPU can handle a game better than a CPU that is rated better than yours.
