maybe its about some function you have disabled (e.g. show more unit stats)

i'll check if this bug also appears without using these new functions

I once had that I could see the info, then alt tabbed, came back and couldn't see it anymore. All after the game was over.

A size of 100's of MB for game.log: isn't that absurd?

Did you test with that option for "show more unit stats" on?
