If the mod is still there, you are using the module from the mod, not the one from FAF, meaning that you are trying to use new keybinding with an older version of the code.

i still have it in the mods folder but it was disabled all the time
i'll go on testing a new profile after removing it from there and check if it still won't work

In your logs, it's still there.

i meant that i try to use the built-in hotbuild and have disabled every mod to test it (including zulan's hotbuild)

i can see stuff like

If you are using the new keybinding options, you should remove your hotbuild mod.

It's safe to keep it, as long as you don't use the in-build one.

i can press whatever hotbuild key i want (factory, pgn, mex etc) but none of them shows me the green preview-building,
the changed keys for patrol/reclaim work
also i cannot see my ACU name anymore

using a fresh downloaded steam version with a new configured game.prefs (no signs of zulan's hotbuild in it)
i have disabled all mods, checked the game.prefs file for the bound keys (yes they are there, but i attached it anyway)
rebinding the keys live in the game does not fix this
