Graphics error tends to occur on larger games; game image hangs and audio continues. If you alt-tab out of the game and try to open it up, screen goes black (in other circumstances things work fine). Only option is to force-quit, but Windows does not claim that the program is not responding. Watching reps on the vault indicates that the game continues while your graphics hang, and you can no longer enter in commands, so I've been unable to tell my teammates what is going on through chat. The errors seem to occur primarily when zooming in or out, though not always.

Hardware:
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500 CPU (4X @ 3.30GHz)
RAM: 8.00 GB
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 570HD (Nvidia)
Monitor Setup: dual monitor, one 1920x1080 through HDMI output and the other 1680x1050 VGA output.
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit SP1

Replay attached, though I doubt it will show anything special other than me unexpectedly blowing up for no reason.

I have had to really try different drivers trial and error to see what works. At one time the 12.6 Catalyst Beta drivers worked fine. After a hardware refurb I'm now running 13.1 official release drivers after the 12.6 dirvers kept causing issues even on a single screen setup.

Have you tried the latest stable release of Nvidia drivers?

Have had the same problem here also, FA has been working fine for ages (I run in windowed mode), then roughly 3-4 weeks ago it seems I started having the screen randomly freeze when in game with FA. If you move away from the FA window then return the screen/window is black, you can hear the game is still running ok in the background however.
I have not changed any video settings from when it was working reliably (same vid drivers). Using ATI 7950 with 13.12 driver with I7 4770K, 16GB RAM
I get the same problem online and in skirmish using FAF.
Have removed all mods and done a clean install of FA with latest FAF and problem still occurs
It seems intermittent, I can play some matches fine without issue.
If there are any logs I could provide which could help identify cause please let me know

Regards, Neill

Apparently I'm not the only one with such issues and they appear to be linked with the most recent patch.

for the record: my most recent game-log in attachment.

Can anybody help us? Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing issues and it's really the kind of issue which makes the game unplayable online.

Need tutorial to setup hotbuild because i do not know how to set it up manually, until then I will not be playing and therefore cannot say if removing those 2 mods resolve the problem.
Hope it helps.

I could solve the issue by doing a rollback on my video driver: in Device Manager, in Display Adapters, go to Properties of your card, and on the driver tab press Roll Back Driver.

So I'm playing multiplayer, when all of sudden my screen freezes. The game continues still though. Since I can hear pinning going on, I can still pause using my keyboard, etc.

When I alt-tab to desktop and back to the game, the screen is black. Yet, cursor and sound are still working, and the game is still going on, on the other side.

I don't always have this problem and it only emerged since yesterday. I had this a total of 3 times now. It's unplayable (duh), and like most of you here, I absolutely love this game. :-)

My system:
Core I5 (haswell)
AMD HD7870 (up to date driver 13.12)
8gig
Win 8.1 x64
single screen.

Game.log:
pastebin. com/W2mbaaY6
Forever.log:
pastebin. com/Yt0GsTVi

I've been searching around. I know this issue is very similar to issues with dual screen set-ups, but this is a single screen setup.
I tried enabling en disabling V-sync, no help. I tried windowed mode, no resolve either. I'm currently looking into previous version for my videocard-driver, although I'm not really a fan of that solution.

Also: to my knowledge (not 100% sure): I don't have any mods installed or running.

I couldn't help but notice that I had these issues since the last update of FAF.

Help me, you're my only hope! :(
