Wow, that made it even mroe curious then haha. We tried 3 different times to the same result. My computer is faster and my Internet is faster, I thought it was related to this somehow, but if there is no host....

There is no host after you launch the game, so probably unrelated.

True, just curious why it froze when I hosted but didn't when he was a host lol

Well the campaign is not designed to support mod, but now it's the mod author problem now

Yes, it worked now, but it was a bit random when I was the Host, but worked when he was the Host. On the very first map when I was Host it froze by the time it zoomed in on the t1 powergen in the "intro" sequence.

Is there anything that I can do about this? It works if you play the campaign normally without FAForever and use the campaign enabler, but never in coop missions using FAForever.
