Could that possibly be making problems for me? If so how do I disable dtspcd or change the port it is using? Or is it possible to change the port FAF uses without running the lobby first?

It has nothing to do with the start of faf lobby. But its the default port for Forged Alliance connection between players, which you could change to another port in faf lobby. That port should then be also in your router port forwarding settings.

You could try to take your computer to a friend. If it does work there it is propably your router firewall. Or you try the other way. A friend installs and tests faf at his home. if its working there he tries it at your home.

The lobby use TCP (like your browser) to connect to the server. It doesn't open any particular port.
Most of the port (12001 ...) are ports for local connections (FA to the lobby).

Someone had problem like yours because of AVG.

I saw that post, he said he fixed it by uninstalling it and by installing Avast. I already have Avast

EDIT: I tried uninstalling Avast and running it...still wont work

I tried running TCPview to see what ports are open and if something is blocking them.
Also when FAForever starts I get these ports open

And when I get that error in the log all TCP ports close except 15000 and 50206

Actually, the fact that you can't connect is a good proof that something on your side mess with it, as everyone else but you two are able to connect.

Or maybe you have been blocked by the server because your IP is in a DDOS list or something.

Eventually, try this :

I guess it's a similar problem than the OP, but as the server is running fine and everyone is able to connect with the latest lobby, I can only assume it's a peerblock/Antivirus/Firewall/ISP problem on your side.

EDIT: I reinstalled old version of FAF and used the Report Bug function at the log-in screen. I was only capable of retrieving this log:

As of today I have the same problem. I updated the lobby to the newest version, and ever since I get stuck at the connection screen. I tried reinstalling the lobby, but to no avail. Since I was capable of logging in just several days ago, I know for sure it's not due to any firewall or other application that might interfere with FAF. I would really appreciate it if someone could look into this, because I'm fairly sure the newest lobby update may have something to do with it.
