I've clicked on "remove" for the "no show".
They are automatically removed as you can see, but still in the pairing list. But the system will adapt.
ie. players will receive "byes" instead of "wins". That's important for the tie break.

Also, you can press "edit" to replace a player with another.

That can be done at any point of the tournament.

And your list is not ordered by player skill (ie. TPK GOd at the second place), that's why you had problems with ties (that and the "no show").
But that has to be done before the start of the tournament (before publishing it). Of course removing "no show" before the start is always better.
(You can publish, check who is there or not, do the final editing, and re-publishing it, it will reset the whole tournament, but that's okay as it has not started yet).

Also, the system will tell you how many rounds you will need to be sure you don't have any tie.

You can, at any point, go back in the participant list.
If the tournament has already started, it will automatically put the player as "not there". The result will be automatically entered for these pairing, and all the pairing adapted for giving free win in order to avoid ties.

It's in manage Participants.
Be careful, If the first round is already started, you cannot go back.

You need to order the participant list by rating order (from better to worst), so it will do the pairing to avoid ties.

Sounds normal, as the next round pairing is dependent of the previous one.

Why?

- it's very hard to change the slots of the no shows
- it's doesnt seem to always do the best matches in oder to prevent a tie
- every round need results in order to be ended
