The tournament directors canceled the tournament after 7 weeks. The problem was that the players had problems to find a date to play their games. As it would be possible that 8 players had a match and they were from 8 different nations and time zones. So it was very difficult to organize it.

But it was a cool idea for a tourney.

Last week I saw a cast, by Gyle, in which he spoke about a team tournament.
The teams consisted of 5 players of any rating, but there was a maximum rating set per map.
As a result you had for example teams consisting of a 800 rated player coupled with a 1500 player who played against one 2000 rated player.
I don't know who organized this, but I would be very interested to join in if it were to be held again.
