boobalicious would love more of these comig in the future

By the time that happens, I will no longer be <1500. While you were having your tournament, I scored key victories on the ranked ladder against some 2000 ranked players. I've jumped from 1380 to 1430 in one weekend. I'm loving this new map pool, it is such a goldmine

Find a tournament director who would host such a tournament on a saturday.

I wasn't looking for a solution, I was looking for awareness :)

So when do you think is the best time for a tournament? I mean why is saturday better then sunday? The americans also have to play 2 pm CEST and it's 7 am CEST in Australia. I don't think someone stands up so early on a weekend to play a computer game.

Every AU/NZ person that's been in a tourney? if I want to play in a tourney, it my choice if I want to get up "early" in order to do so. However is pt's a very stupid thing to skip work, or in some cases education, in order to play a computer game on a Monday morning.

EDIT: Should probably add when I said Sunday I meant EU Sunday, ei Monday morning for AU/NZ/JPN or whatever

Now like you said, real life comes first, but it would be nice to have tourneys on Saturday by default unless there really is no other option.

Hope it runs smoothly!

That time isn't great. 9pm Sunday CEST is equivalent to 5am Monday EST, in Sydney Australia. Just before I'm heading off to work. :( How long were you expecting the tournament would go for?

Generally tournaments at about 7-11pm Saturday CEST work much better. Because the USA is -7 UTC and Australia is +10 UTC. It means you catch everyone on the weekend. Don't think I'll be joining you, but, hope it goes well.
