Someone screwed up the IRC is all that happened.... ZeP or Voodoo will fix it when they get on in the morning. Sadly I can not do so from my tablet :/

I can confirm. The lines in question are:

Code:: [nochanmodes: faforever.com->Kamicase]#aeolus You need a registered nick to join that channel. [nosuchnick: faforever.com->Kamicase]NickServ No such nick/channel

After which the client just tries to ping again and again.
Matchmaking is functional though.

I am having the same problem too...it started about an hour ago for me . I tried reinstalling FaF ...tried the name I first used when I joined....I even tried to create a new account ...nothing works ...can still play games though ...some help would be appreciated.

Hi All

I am Field_Marshall and I been this account for a few days.

I logged in after an hour away from my pc earlier and it wont enter chat. It tells me that I 'need a registered nick to join that channel' and continues on to say 'no such nick/channel' loads of times.

It doesnt say banned anywhere in the junk and I notice that the whats new screen has changed since I last logged in. I assume the game has been patched or something.

Please can a mod tell me if theres problems with my account? or how to get into chat? If you need my email I can pm you it.
