Once it had run through I re-ran the latest FAF update and it installed just fine, thanks for pointing me in the right direction :)

Basically when I try to update FAF it first uninstalls the previous version but fails because it's missing a temp file, this is a file I've not found on another persons computer either so it doesnt make too much sense. I get the following error: Image

I cant install FAF to a different location because it always tries to remove the old version and fails, so far the only workaround has been to completely overwrite the old folder with someone elses updated FAF.

Currently running win7 64it if it helps.

I tried a search on the forums for the filename tmpsofrcx.msi and didnt see anything and it's not a crash so cant post any logs, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
