I join a 1v1v1. The second the game starts, it's already horribly lagging. A player is behind in data. After about 40 seconds game time (3 minutes or so real time), the lag hasn't gotten any better, the player hasn't fixed it so I leave.

I guess the other non-lagging player left, because a minute later I was greeted with a lobby message saying I lost 14 points.

As you could imagine, I'd like to avoid to avoid this in the future. How quickly does one have to leave the game for it to not count? Or in this situation, like an FFA, if you quit because of lag or whatever but people keep playing past the appointed time, I suppose you just have to eat it, eh?

Thanks for the information

(Replay ID: 889880, though it didn't work in the online vault for me)
