The Telus router routes anything going from port 6112 from any IP to the second router IP on port 6112.
The second router routes anything going from port 6122 from any IP to go to Culverin IP on port 6112.

I'm behind a 2nd router, the standard port forwarding as shown here doesn't seem to work for me.
http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... mander.htm

I'm looking at this tutorial
http://portforward.com/help/doubleroute ... arding.htm

And I'm a little unsure of Step #1,
Step 1

We want to forward ports from the WAN of R1 to a computer connected to LAN2. To do this we need to forward the ports in R1 to R2's external IP address. In this example we would log into R1 and forward ports to 192.168.1.5.

Note: In order to connect to R1's web interface one will probably have to plug a computer directly into R1 and establish a connection on LAN1.

Any chance somebody would be able to help make this a little more idiot proof for me?

I'm behind 2 routers because the first one is a modem/router from the ISP that goes to my tenants.
I run a landline across the house for my unit and have a separate access point for my wifi.

thanks so much!!!

PM'd Ze_PilOt, this is where we left off.

I said:

The link goes like this:
DSL Modem/Router -> Linksys Router -> My computer

I think it's like this?
23.16.26.156 -> 192.168.1.254 -> 192.168.1.65

He said:

So, in the linksys, open 6112 and route it to the 6112 port of 192.168.1.65.
If 6112 is took, take another number.

In the DSL router, open and route the same port (6112 or the one you choose) to the 6112 (or whatever you choose) port of 192.168.1.254.

In the lobby, set your port to 6112 or that number.

I finally got access to the router/modem combo.

I have set the port forward in my router (dd-wrt) as per your instructions.

I am trying to punch in:
6112
6112
192.168.1.254
As per your instructions in Section 1 of the Telus router/modem.
I hit apply, but the settings don't seem to save.
Am I doing it wrong?

Now I'm a bit stuck.
Am I creating some sort of loop so that the modem/router will not save the settings?

thanks again guys.
