You should be able to request an exemption for the FAF server from the primary block list here:

I also have PeerBlock, it was doing the same thing, but I'm used to it blocking every new thing i do, so i have a habit of checking it after something's not right. But back to my point, I found that PeerBlock was also blocking individual PEOPLE when I joined a game, so it's actually best to just DISABLE IT altogether when you wanna play FAF.
Because of this it FROZE one of my 2v2 games and lost connection to one of the players (why it randomly did it in the middle of a game i have no idea).

No, it's related to the fact that we are hosted on OVH now. And that some stupid people added it a blocklist because they allow the filtering of UDP to avoid flooders.

No idea what is the purpose of peerblock actually. They are militing for net neutrality by filtering some websites ? Pretty stupid in my opinion.

I didn't touch anything, and I don't even know how to do that, also I have no antivirus, and I didn't change the firewall, and it used to work correctly before that period, the problems might have started with the 0.8.1 lobby update

Btw it looks like it's working better now

I just figured it out!

That IP range is on PeerBlock's block list, under "OVH SAS" whatever that means.
As I had it configured to allow all HTTP traffic I could access the website, forums, etc. but nothing else.

I'll just add an exception and all will be well.

I installed "FAForeverLobby-600.msi" only a week ago, and been having the same problem since the server failure, I was successfully connecting regularly up until then.
I just went and installed "FAForeverLobby-0.8.4.msi" and tried again but no luck. Nothing else has changed my end.

My gut feeling is it's trying to connect to the old server. How can I force it on to the new one?

Check your firewall, antivirus, ...

It's one of these, or you have a very, very old build of the lobby.

If the last time we've switched the server you've edited the hosts file even I told it was a very bad idea, you probably want to remove the changes too as it can produce your problems.

Hi,

Since five days or so I couldn't connect to the FAF lobby, when I try to it keeps telling "Establishing connection..." but it doesn't ever connect, no error message appears, and the last two days I have to try several times before I could connect, because most of the time that same problem occurs, it just keeps saying "establishing connection" :/

I am the only one to have this problem ? Is it from me or inherent to the lobby ? How to solve it ?
