To give you an idea of the insane obsolescence of XP, using it now is like keeping windows 1.0 (1985) and/or MS-DOS 3.20 (not even 3.3 ) while everybody was on windows 98.

I don't think graphic cards manufacturers will keep XP for much longer either. Microsoft dropped support for consumers last year.

Hello,

My guess is that FAF does not handle the white spaces in "C:\Documents and Settings" correctly and stops at "C:\Documents".

Wouldn't the fix be was simple as adding quotation marks around "Documents and Settings" in the path?

I fully understand your point, dropping support of XP. I still find you're doing a great work.

I've found a work-around for those who it may interest :
The download of the replay happens normally by a double click in the lobby. It is download in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\FAForever\cache" as "temp.fafreplay". A double click on the file open the replay.
So it is overwritten each time you download a replay in the lobby, so it does not take too much disk space.

I also have the same problem on same configuration (XP SP3).

My guess is that FAF does not handle the white spaces in "C:\Documents and Settings" correctly and stops at "C:\Documents".

I tried to create a folder "Documents" in C: as a workaround, but it didn't work.

I also want to thank the FAF Team for its great work.

Live and downloaded replays work fine. Only "online vault" replays do not work.

When I double-click a replay (eg. one on 8 Feb) the following things happen:

- updating FAF message box appears (but no updates are downloaded)

- screen goes black and stops loading.
- when i alt-tab back into windows the following error message box appears:

Ack!
"Unable to load replay from C:\Documents"

- I click OK and it proceeds to load the GPGNet FA screen where I can see my profile etc.
