did you try to take a higher port number... something like 13000 to 20000?
give your pc a static ip and disable dhcp in your router and as well disable upnp. maybe this helps?

No.

If you set 611 and your ip end with 4, it will map 615.

The problem is that your router is ADDING (like a + b) your ip number to the port.

So basically, if I would forward port "611" and my local IP ends with a 4, it would forward "6114." So if I tell FAF to use port 6114, it might just work. I'll go ahead and try that.

EDIT: Well the first attempt was succesful. I changed the settings, clicked automatch and BOOM; first second a game was found and it set up just fine too. Though it might have been a coincidence, since I have been able to play a total of 2 automatch games earlier today (with a hell lot of automatch attempts).

EDIT2: Tried automatching a second time and it got stuck on "Setting up automatch..." again.

I sadly can't replicate it with the material I have at home.

Ok, you have one of these weird router that add the ending number of your local IP to the forwarded port.

It's outside my competence to solve this, but at least you know why and can search google for a solution.

If you find one, please post it here.

(Maybe not forwarding port at all but using uPnP can solve it).

As you can see, your port is correctly detected to 6112, the server double check it and it goes to 6116.

Some routers does that (rerouting after a packet is received).

By any chance, is your local ip something like 192.168.xxx.4 ?

I actually included the logs in that post in quotes. And as you can see I also read the wiki and tried everything it said.

I also just put these recent logs online. These are from automatches only. I played a game today. The two other attempts failed.

I would like to say that I have the exact same problem. Though, I can't fix it since there's only one account allowed for each computer.

Here's a post I made 4 days ago:

I figured I'd necro this thread instead of creating a useless duplicate one, as I have the same problem. Though, mine has now escalated to the point where I can't play a multiplayer game on FAF at all anymore.

These logs are with the following settings:
DMZ off; ports forwarded: 6112, 9103, 30350 (UDP & TCP).
Antivirus removed.
Computer firewall turned completely off.
Lobby port set to 6112.
uPnP function in lobby unticked.

My attempts at fixing this problem so far:

Putting my router in DMZ mode.
DMZ off; port forwarding ports 6112, 9103, 30350 (UDP & TCP).
Computer firewall completely off.
Computer firewall on with FAF, SupCom and FA as exceptions.
Antivirus removed (still got it removed).
uPnP function in lobby ticked.
uPnP function in lobby unticked.
Game port set to random ports as 3123 (also with uPnP on/off).
Router uPnP on.
Router uPnP off.

Additional info:

Router: Siemens, Gigaset SX551.
That's the only router I'm behind.
Router has a firewall, which I have left turned on at all times.
I'm in the Netherlands.
My provider is KPN.
My computer handles this game with ease.

Dwhitty your first idea was correct. It was the account. Pilot fixed it this evening.

You've changed the computer, I did not change FAF. I think it's the computer

Can you try your old account on the notebook ?

If it works, that will prove that it's not related to FAF (same client, same login, same network : only the computer changed...)
