I guess you did already, but update your drivers , and disable any superfluous gfx effects like AA, vertical synch, etc... Just for test.

As the others said, really unlikely that your connection is the bottleneck inducing lag ONLY when you're zoomed in. Odd problem though.

I am pretty sure that's close to the real value.

When I was not using my epic singaporean connection, I was struggling to play because of my upload speed.

When it was around 200kbit/s it was very fine, but reaching 150-160 it was giving me some time outs and unstable connection for the game.

I guess you just need some extra from the values you could read on the firewall stats. Overall that ain't huge.
I usually play while downloading like crazy , with lots of torrents open, not an issue. The problem only happens if I use way too much of my upload bandwidth.

nVidia geforce 380m i think

I changed it to Stereo, it was on Quadriphonic before. I will test.
I am 100% sure my connection spikes. I see all other connetions get red, and i become behind on data, even though my internet is fine.

Edit: i Tested it. No change, ive tested on pingtest.net, A on close distance, B on far (California to Germany).
Zoomed all the way out = Green ping, Trying to zoom in quickly = Connection spike.

Supcom 2 had an issue with my realtek audio drivers, same problems as you (frame drops when zoomed out). But the connection was okay.

There is no difference in the bandwith requirement when you are zoomed out or in.

Check out your ping ingame (F11).

And check out the networkstates (ren_shownetworkstates; you can open the console with "ö" (german keyboard))

For the 3v3 issue: How does it lag? Is it just a gradual thing, or does your ping shoot up to like 3000ms all the time?
If the latter, it's likely either your modem or your ISP throttling the number of outbound connections.
