Oh, so... another 3-way tie thanks to my stubbornness in using the round-Robin format.

Finalization of the tourney can be an assigned day or I can release a map list, have the teams set up their games, and play.

I think we got a nice set of steamed games, so the finale is whatever it is! I'm for a set day over the next couple weeks, but am leaving it open to the 6 remaining players.

I'll regulate as needed, but the show must be finished.

(As an aside, we should make a point of tracking the game IDs for tournaments. And it would be nice if the map vault had a variable like "Tournament Name" which would be blank for 99.9% of all games, but which mods could fill in after each tournament, so that it would be easy in the future for people to find these more special games)

At last, the 2v2 Master Cup Round-Robin

Up to $600 from $500 to account for the horrid scheduling mishap on my part.

$400 1st Place

Format

Simple, Round-Robin

I do realize there could be ties encountered like in the Qualifier, but unlike last time, time will be given and increased. This could take awhile, but oh well - should be plenty good matches.

Time to Start and Afterward

The official tournament start will begin at 12 Noon (US Eastern Standard Time) / 16 GMT [4PM EU Time]

For 3 hours today (or the end of the first 3 rounds), matches will be played live in sequence so there is a good opportunity for casting. After that, matches will be held by teams individually for each of the following weeks until the final round. At that point, the final round matches will be played on a specific date, and tie-breaking rules - if needed - will be applied. The matches then will be played for such a purpose and

The full-share setting is to be enabled so as to deter from games simply being determined by sniping one player.

Casting and Observation Rules

Due to an issue in the Qualifier round, any hosting team that uses "allow observers" and does not leave IMMEDIATELY once they die will be forced to replay the match if they should win.

Casters in the game are up to the teams. BOTH teams must agree to allow a caster to join and observe. I will NOT be settling debates on any suspicion of observers causing controversy. You have been warned...
