Yes, you qualify, the maximum rating allowance is 1500 but there is no minimum!

Looks like this thing starts at approximately 0500 my time (-6 UTC). I believe. I'll make sure to show up an hour early in case I got daylight savings wrong, lol. I can arrive even when that late thanks to being on PTO/break, though I haven't practiced so I"ll be a nice warm up for other people rather than great competition.

I mean, I think I qualify? I know my ladder rating isn't even close to 1500 and I have a fair number of games on ladder, I know that much.

Hmm, for me this is 6am, the EQ tournament is at 12pm, and I'm a night person...........oh well, sign me up! I'll get up at 5:30 and win both of them.

Do not worry. After waking up at 5 am to play Sir-Prize and Anihilnine in WWPC I will never, ever play a tournament at that time again...

I was considering moving the time an hour or so forward, but a few things still make me hesitant.

1: is that it's moving a bit too late into the night for the playerbase the tournament is marketed for.

and 2: is that (without trying to disrespect) the AUS playerbase has typically lower ratings (at 1461, im currently top 3 in AUS(ladder)) and big names with big rating levels may intimidate newer players who have not really had a chance to prove themselves in a while,
it's happened before in this timezone and it 'kindof' screwed over a lot of people. ("i'm only 800, why am i playing 1.9k players?")

We do have a bit under a week to change anything if a good case is made, im happy to try and accommodate (before the tourney starts)
And of course, the tourney won't start without players! so sign up and unwillingly sign up your friends too!
