I've decided to cancel the tournament due to lack of interest and have promptly give a small prize to Nexus for participating. I'm awaiting turinturambar to get info for $ (dude, easy $20 lol).

I will be saving the $ and instead hosting a bracketed 2v2 tourney after the LoTS one.

To kick off the WWPC 2v2 again this first session will feature a 4-week long session and $100 (USD) will be awarded to the team that takes championship. In order to guarantee quality matches the length of the session has been increased as the 2v2 WWPC requires coordination of two players per team.

Since there would be an uneven amount of teams and there is $ on the line, a format will be used where each team gathers points and the top two teams will face off in a BO5. In the result of a tie a BO1 will be made for a tie-breaker. The map and format will be decided by external TDs in this case.

Round 1 will be 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, and 5 vs 6
Round 2 will be 1 vs 6, 2 vs 4, and 3 vs 5
Round 3 will be 1 vs 3, 2 vs 6, and 4 vs 5

Last, but not least, all teams will be competing for the "O1700" session. Arkitect or Gyle will be requested to cast matches yet no guarantees. If neither can do so they will get casted by someone to document the series.

Good evening, fellow FAFers. Today marks the day of the grand return of the World-Wide Peoples' Championship team variant for 2v2 matches.

Pending some adjustments to recent ratings of most players and transfer of direction this will be a temporary placeholder to get the sign-ups and KOs posted again!

For the first session the sign-ups will be 100% rating-free and all will count towards the "O1700" bracket. Since it has been so long since the last matches the awards are being put up-for-grabs. At the start adjustments will take place here and there and eventually fade away until a good system is found and working well for the series.

Please post up here if you have not already!
