I would assume if your mex was killed - e.g you had 3t2 mexes and 4 facs, and 1 t2 mex died - you, like norma, couldn't build 4th or 5th factories. So if your 4th factory died, you can't rebuild it, but you keep it.

you can remove the exception from rules by not allowing starting with fac

Edit :exceptions make is really much harder to understand rules

also if some one kills my t2 mex i have to ctrl+k my factory?

If you want an ecowhore tournament, it could be a good idea, just select maps that favor ecowhoring, and / or add no rush timer (5 minutes?), it'll be easier for everyone.

is this actually any different from normal games?
i guess it's hard to follow those rules, even when trying to do so. keeping track of how many "points" you get from mexies and how many you already spent on buildings

I will be hosting a special tournament.

1) You cannot have have more factories than T2 mex, with the exception of your first factory
2) Drones are banned
3) Each factory tech level is equal to the amount of T2 mexes it requires, so a T3 factory would require 3 T2 mexes before you can build it (so say you have a T3 HQ and a T3 support factory, that would require 4 mexes)
4) Support factories are only 1 T2 mex
5) 1 T3 mex is equivalent to 2 T2 mexes
6) Said factory rules apply to all unit types
7) Unranked
8) There will be a mod that should automatically does the counting for you

This will be a Double Elimination tournament and there is no rating cap, anyone can sign up.
