Stop being lazy and PM each other when KOs are posted. Each Wed (this has been known for a long time) they are done so if you signed up get on it asap. The TD can't force people to communicate and in effect the players hurt the league itself by not prepping themselves.

Two weeks is plenty time. One to two matches in one week is not asking much and a BO5 between only two people shouldn't be that difficult.

I feel like a slower cycle would be better, give people more time to communicate and build their schedules to make sure they can play their games. I also feel like more attentive matchmaking in terms of people's timezones for the knockouts would be good. When people sign up they should give their timezone (ex. briang for U1900 US-Eastern GMT-5).

Also still think my EU NA division idea would be worth a try.

I do feel kind of burnt out and think that's a great idea. I'll always help out with it a bit but for now I'd like to work on something else.

Expanding on my earlier suggestion :
Each 3rd or 4th month, you could have three or four weeks where there is a WWPC tournament
Winner of first week takes the crown - or retains it - and having it gives you an advantage on map choices + not having to play through preliminaries
small cash prize for having the crown at any point, retaining it (either from before it starts, or taking it first week and keeping it second) gives additional prize
whoever managed to keep the title at the end receives the avatar, position and cash prize until next.

NA EU divisions? First you have to see if there's enough interest on both sides to warrant it. Otherwise you could end up with two very small divisions or one of them could be oversized in comparison to the other.

Actually I like the idea of a league like Jagged suggested.

Perhaps it could become a league, I don't know if a league format has been used before.

And in combination with what briang said about timezone separation.

What if we had a NA and an EU division?

If you add the longterm suggestion

WWPC could be transferred into a 3 monthly thing, so roughly 4 times a year

I would really like that! What do you think?
